During your stay, enjoy guided rainforest walks, visit the majestic Pusculin Waterfall, and take part in an artisanal workshop where you’ll learn to create natural crafts or chocolate. Each evening, unwind at the lodge while listening to the sounds of the forest and watching spectacular sunsets.

Day 1 – Arrival and Waterfall Exploration
7:00 AM – Departure from Quito.
12:00 PM – Lunch in Puyo.
2:00 PM – Arrival and check-in at Tamandua Ecolodge.
2:30 PM – Guided hike to Pusculin Waterfall (70 meters high) with opportunities to observe wildlife along the way.
7:00 PM – Dinner at the lodge.
8:00 PM – Free time or optional night walk for nocturnal wildlife observation.
Day 2 – River Journey and Chocolate Workshop
8:00 AM – Breakfast.
9:00 AM – Excursion to the Upper Anzu River for birdwatching and possible sightings of monkeys and other species.
1:00 PM – Lunch.
2:00 PM – Artisanal chocolate workshop using native Amazonian cacao.
7:00 PM – Dinner.
Day 3 – Observation Tower, Handicrafts, and Return
7:30 AM – Breakfast.
9:00 AM – Visit to viewpoints and the observation tower for birdwatching and landscape photography.
11:00 AM – Handicraft workshop: bracelet making with natural seeds.
1:00 PM – Lunch.
2:00 PM – Check-out and return to Quito.
Departure Point:
Hotel pick-up and drop-off are included for accommodations or meeting points within Quito city.
Pick-up from Quito Airport or distant areas outside the city can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.

Return:
Drop-off in Quito around 7:00 PM on Day 3.

Guests are picked up directly from their selected hotels in Quito between 6:30 and 7:00 AM on the first day of the tour.

Check-Out:
Tour ends on Day 3 around 7:00 PM with drop-off at your hotel in Quito.
This tour is not recommended for travelers with severe mobility issues.

The eco-lodge offers limited Wi-Fi connection and electricity from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Each room includes bathroom, and hot water.
All activities are guided by certified bilingual local guides.
The order of activities may vary depending on weather and local conditions.
Cancellations made at least 7 days before the tour will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made 3 to 6 days before the tour will incur a 50% charge.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour start date or no-shows are non-refundable.
In case of unforeseen circumstances such as road closures, extreme weather, or safety concerns, Amazonian Journeys reserves the right to reschedule or modify the itinerary.
